Point Clouds in the Web

This website presents an example of a Point Cloud Visualization using the new HTML5 WebGL Technology. All you need to watch it is an WegGL enabled Browser.
In Firefox type "about:config" in the addressline and set the property "webgl.force-enabled" to true by doubleclicking.
The Point Cloud you see is an output of a terrestrial laser scan of a class room of the Institute of Geography in Heidelberg. Play around with the point size and imagine the possibilities....This cloud has nearly half a million points!
